The story of our year 2014
We pride ourselves on having a culture of positivity and high performance. This year we’re delighted to have received some great endorsements for our work – all of which we owe thanks to our clients for allowing us to craft award-winning work.
It’s been an exciting place to be, seven new members of staff have joined us and also we’ve moved into Chapel Studios on Waterloo Road close to the historic Stockport market place.
This year KMP Digitata have launched several new websites including, Milligan Retail, Trek America, Brilliant Project, Neville Johnson, Natural Retreats, Spaceslide and Miller Insurance. We’ve also completed projects for Portr, Aberdeen Airport, Manchester Airports Group, Tensar International and Leeds Bradford Airport.
We’re proud to say that KMP have scooped up a couple of awards and were nominated for 7! We picked up the award for Best Travel Website in the UK at The Travel Marketing Awards for our work with Luxury Travel operators Carrier.
Then 17 years after winning the first of our “Northwest Internet Awards”, as The Big Chip Awards were known back then and 14 years after winning the first of our Best Digital Agency Awards at the Big Chip Awards, we only went and won Best Agency at the Big Chip Awards again!
Our nominations include 1 for Prolific North Awards, 3 for Big Chip, 1 CIM Travel Awards and finally we were up for the BBC Digital Excellence gong at the North of England Excellence awards.
We’re incredibly honored to be finalists at the BBC Digital Excellence Award as part of the North of England we were up against some strong competition including Enjoy Digital, Visualsoft and of course the winners in the end were UKFast.
We’ve also had a bit of fun to round the year off with our Naughty or Nice DigiSanta Christmas campaign – our clients had a chance to receive a present – they had to tweet us saying whether they’d been nice or naughty this year. For the naughty ones we sent them chocolate cinder toffee coal and the nice ones white chocolate and raspberry fudge. Some of the confession-like responses were hilarious. Needless to say, our very own Lucy was extremely naughty!
Having worked alongside MAG for a number of years, KMP Digitata’s latest e-commerce platform AeroParker is certainly taking off in the airport industry.
AeroParker already works with airports such as Bournemouth, East Midlands, London Stansted, Manchester Airport, Cologne and Avinor. This year AeroParker attended events such as ACI Europe Airport Exchange and Parking Network conference in Munich.
And finally, KMP Digitata and AeroParker CEO Jon Keefe was recognised by Finance Monthly with the 2014 CEO Award. Jon was featured in the recent edition of Journal of Airport Management.
We hope that we’ll have even more good news and projects to share with you next year and we hope you can join us…
