KMP Digitata launch new website for kotka old port, finland's first waterfront designer outlet
Milligan, the specialist retail developers who are dedicated to creating places where people are inspired to shop, has recently launched a new website for its project, Kotka Old Port, Finland’s first waterfront designer outlet, located on the coastline between Helsinki and St Petersburg.
The brand new website unveiled to promote the development project was built by KMP Digitata. It is a single-page information site, which not only strategically showcases the rich contemporary retail destination.
Features of the new site include a fully responsive layout which allows users to clearly navigate to video, maps, building designs – displaying the numerous views of the designer outlet and downloadable PDFs of masterplans and leasing plans on mobile, tablet and desktop.
Milligan’s objective was to use strong visual elements to communicate the valuable research behind the project, to detail the expertise of partners involved in the development of the project and to outline the plan for the intricate construction of Kotka Old Port. These elements include striking full-width imagery, bitesize useful content and informative infographics.
Lucy Brearley Clients Services Manager at KMP said: “In today’s market, it is incredibly important for us to create websites that are responsive, providing clients with a highly positive online journey regardless of the device they are viewing our website on. Milligan specialises in creating the ultimate luxury shopping experience and KMP enhances this by catering wholly to their client’s needs to achieve this experience.”
KMP Digitata has already worked on a number of projects for Milligan which was originally set up by John Milligan in 2002. They previously approached KMP Digitata with a mission to refresh the design and update the architecture of their existing website.
